Grief Counseling

We can experience grief with any ending or loss. An ending of a relationship, a loss of a loved one, the loss of a pet or a loss of a job are examples of kinds of losses.

Grief is a natural response to an ending. We often experience denial, anger, bargaining and depression in response to a loss or ending.

Our life can feel like it’s been turned “upside down” and making decisions can be difficult. We often feel overwhelmed and cry easily.

Counseling can feel supportive during the grieving process and can help with the transition from the pain to acceptance. Counseling can help you process feelings of anger, sadness, guilt or abandonment surrounding the loss.
